Overgate Shopping Centre (Dundee) – located just over an hour northeast (62 miles) from Edinburgh (via route M90), the regional and international retailers found here include Argos, Debenhams, French Connection, Gap, H&M, Next, O2, Superdry, and Topman, among others.

Buchanan Galleries

Buchanan Galleries (220 Buchanan Street, Glasgow) — this shopping centre is in the middle of Glasgow city centre, a city recognized as one of the top retail destinations in the UK. It’s home to John Lewis in Glasgow, and has over 90 of the best retail names under our roof, from retail giants to small independents. – such as Crocs, Ecco, H&M, Hollister California, Lego, Levi’s, Mango, O2, Quiksilver, and Swarovski.

Usher Hall

Usher Hall (Lothian Road, Edinburgh) – this historic concert hall holds 2,900 spectators, and books a variety of musical acts. The Royal Oak

The Royal Oak (1 Infirmary Street, Edinbergh) the Royal Oak is a real Scottish pub that has made its name as a live music venue. Steeped in history and atmosphere it is only a few minutes walk from the Royal Mile. With a fine tradition of musical entertainment every single night of the week you can hear mainly folk songs with a mix of other acoustic styles. The Royal Oak not only gives visitors the chance to hear some great tunes, but it also acts as a focal point for many of Edinburgh’s traditional musicians.

The Hive

The Hive (15-17 Niddry Street, Edinburgh) – this is a 650-capacity, two-room dance club that been in business since 2007. It has hosted a varied line-up of various acts (from pop to indie, electro, rock, metal, and drum & bass.

The Citrus Club

The Citrus Club (40-42 Grindlay Street, Edinburgh) – this venue caters to those who want to hear retro sounds from the past (ranging from 80s New Wave, to classic rock, indie, ska, reggae and dancehall music). That means one is likely to hear Soft Cell (“Tainted Love” ), Duran Duran, The Specials, Madness, The English Beat, New Order, Joy Division, Yaz, Ministry, ABC, Adam Ant, and other UK acts from yesteryear. In other words, UK and other acts from the early days of MTV!

The Caves

The Caves (8-12 Niddry Street South, Edinburgh) — The Caves is a truly unique venue that makes up the sub-structure of the 18th Century South Bridge. There is no venue more Edinburgh than the Caves, or more Scottish, if you consider there was once so much Whisky stored here that it became known as “Whisky Row”. These days, The Caves is one of Edinburgh’s major clubbing venues – usually featuring various DJ-driven dance music sessions, as well as bookings of indie rock acts.
